Communication

Dear Keeler Families,  Our principal Kenny Yeung sent out a principal’s message via school messenger last week.  The message will go directly to your email (Please contact Ms. Woznow in the office if you have changed your email address after submitting your demographic verification form at the end of August).  As mentioned in our previous post, the school is committing to a communication plan to ensure parents are connected to the school and their childs’ learning. Mr. Yeung will be sending out weekly messages via   school messenger . Messages will include school wide important dates and reminders, as well as, resources, system/school updates and anything that will keep our community informed (No messages involving sales or promotion of any products or services will be in these messages). Ms. Emily Welcome Letter

Hi Parents,  Your child received a paper copy of the following notice today:  Dear EDC Parents, My name is Emily Cadman and I am a new EDC (Early Development Centre) teacher at Keeler School. I have already enjoyed the first few days of getting to know your child and am looking forward to continuing to work with them this year. I will be planning learning activities and working closely with the other EDC teacher, Ms. Alexander, to continue to support your child’s growth.   We will continue to use the red communication book that has been coming home in your child’s backpack. School Council Meeting

Music Therapy Schedule Sept. 11-Dec. 11

Dear Parents, We are very pleased to have music therapy incorporated into our weekly schedule, starting on Wednesday, September 11th for 12 weeks. The music therapist uses active music with singing, using instruments, and movement to music to enrich our EDC program. Our classes will be from 9-10am. Thank you, Ms. Emily and the EDC Team

Thank you to ALL the families and community members that came out to our welcome back BBQ on August 29 th .  We had over 370 students/families/community members come out!
