Dear Parents, From December 2 nd – 19 th , we are focusing on seasonal winter activities! We are reading the story “The Gingerbread Man” with our own interactive characters! Students can choose a character and match the character to the events of the story! Students will be able to continue to build their language and communication skills through visuals, songs, and stories! We have several fine motor, gross motor, and art activities that all connect to this story. Students will continue to apply their knowledge of parts of the body to making their own paper gingerbread person! We are continuing to build our understanding of and independence with entry and exit routines by learning more about winter clothing! Students will also be able to continue to develop their fine motor skills with colouring, painting, cutting, and gluing as we learn about sorting objects.
