For the weeks of June 8-12th, 15th-19th, and 22nd-26th we will be reading the story, Giraffes Can't Dance by Giles Andreae and Guy Parker-Rees To access the read aloud of this book, please click here: https://youtu.be/bxnC3PAJYLA For more information about activities to accompany this book, please watch the video that is posted under "Ms. Emily's June 8-12th Video Message" or email me at ebcadman@cbe.ab.ca. While reading the story, you could work on labelling the animals in the story, labelling and identifying Gerald the Giraffe's body parts, and how Gerald is feeling during different parts of the story. Maybe you and your child could try dancing to different kinds of music until you find one that you love, just like Gerald does! I hope you and your child enjoy the story! Kind regards, Emily
